Discover Mermaid

Mermaids are the mythical swimmers of the ocean, but without legs.

How does THAT work? Come and find out!

Slip into a monofin, and let our instructors show you the ways of the mystical merfolk!

The PADI Discover Mermaid experience introduces simple mermaid activities in confined water (a pool), shallow enough in which to stand.

It is designed as a flexible, informative, enjoyable, and controlled experience centered on letting you discover what it's like to mermaid dive.

To enroll in a Discover Mermaid experience, you need to be in

good physical health and comfortable in the water.

No prior experience with snorkeling, skin diving, or freed iving is required, and no prerequisites.

1 Hour (minimum age 6 years old up to adult)

This course allows students to discover the world of mermaiding for the first time!

Make a splash learning how to become a mermaid with activities in and out of the water.

Max Depth: Water shallow enough in which to stand
